Breaking down the stigma of mental illness is of the utmost importance. When a friend or family member is struggling mental illness, having access to resources and information can make all the different to help care for and support your affected loved one.  Here you will find contact information for various mental health services and resources.

Centre for Addiction and Mental Health

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada’s largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital, as well as one of the world’s leading research centres in the area of addiction and mental health. CAMH combines clinical care, research, education, policy development and health promotion to help transform the lives of people affected by mental health and addiction issues.

Canadian Mental Health Association

CMHA is a nation-wide, charitable organization that promotes the mental health of all and supports the resilience and recovery of people experiencing mental illness.

The Etobicoke Children’s Centre

The ECC is an accredited Children’s Mental Health Centre located in West Toronto. The ECC’s staff are trained and skilled in providing effective mental health and autism services for children, youth and their families. The ECC’s services include workshops, consultation, training and treatment.

The George Hull Centre

The George Hull Centre works in partnership with families and children, with other community services and with community groups to improve the mental health of the children and youth. The Centre works to develop an accessible, flexible and responsive continuum of service delivery for the community, and to provide specialized services for the Greater Toronto Area.
