The GEMs are small business and service organization awards I run each year with our community's BIAs (business improvement areas). Our neighbours go above and beyond while volunteering, and in the small businesses that make Etobicoke-Lakeshore special. Please #supportlocal by nominating your favourites.
Deadline for nominations is July 31st, 2026. Winners are selected by our BIA Chairs, and the award ceremony will take place later this year. For a GEM nomination to be valid, the business or service provider must be in Etobicoke-Lakeshore. The winners will also feature on my social media and in a mailout to every home and business.
